Quem tem medo da disciplina de história? Experiências de negacionismos vivenciadas no contexto escolar

Abstract

The main objective of this paper is to discuss a situation of denialism that occurred at a school where one of the authors of this report works. This situation led her to question not only the actions of the professionals working there, but also the way in which the discipline of History ends up colliding whenever a topic related to religion, race, or gender is raised. Thus, in reflecting on the situation, we draw on current readings on the topic and also highlight the alternatives we can use when situations arise that ultimately question the seriousness of historical science and the reflective paths this discipline offers us. It is worth noting that, as this work is a brief experience report, it was not intended to delve deeper into this research topic, but rather to shed light on yet another experience of denialism within History education.
