This work is the result of an experience lived by the authors, it refers to the applicability of interdisciplinarity in a group of undergraduate students of the Pedagogy course at a private college in João Pessoa. The look of one as a teacher and the other as a student presents two points of view on the application of this methodology, which expands the interpretative form on the results of this practice. We know that the planning of a subject to be studied for a semester in higher education is not always able to relate to the others that are in progress, even so, in this case, the teachers of three subjects were able to organize and relate the contents and two of the assessments that are mandatory for the semester. In this sense, the students presented thematic seminars and prepared an extended summary on the same theme of the seminar. The themes were previously planned by the professors so that each one could approach the subject in relation to the subject they were linked to. Therefore, we will discuss the importance of interdisciplinarity in the student learning and development process based on this experience, based on Piaget (1981) Leis (2005), Pereira (2009) and Marquezan (2016). In order to know and discuss the students' opinion regarding the applied methodology, we formulated a questionnaire using Google forms, which had the voluntary participation of some subjects who experienced this practice. It is worth mentioning that the results obtained were considered successful, both by the teaching team and by the students, which leads us to realize how much we still need to highlight the interdisciplinary methodology, not only theoretically, but mainly in the daily practice of higher education.
